Kelly Clarkson found a cheeky way to encourage her fans and followers to get out and vote in the 2016 presidential election, but it included taking a small dig at her former American Idol rival Justin Guarini.

On Twitter, Clarkson tweeted a meme of the moment she won the very first season of American Idol in 2002. At the time, she beat out Guarini to win a recording contract. “Make the right choice again, America,” the meme reads, followed by the #Election2016 hashtag.
“Just kidding Justin,” she wrote, along with several crying-laughing emojis. Even on a day that has most people biting their nails, Clarkson is ever the jokester.
