Don’t fret, Idol fans. Just because the series is ending, doesn’t mean it’ll be gone, gone, gone. According to its creator, Simon Fuller, the past 15 carpal tunnel-triggering years were just the beginning.

In an exclusive interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Fuller revealed that “there will no doubt be another format or refinement or elevation of the format,” adding in, “now I can actually revamp it and come up with a new version.”
